This class implements certification path building and verifying methods that conform to the descriptions in RFC 2459 with the following exceptions:

• CRL distribution points and related extensions are not processed.
  The policy mapping portion of the algorithm has been removed. The source code is present, but is commmented out. The removed code has been tested and functions properly and can be added back in, if desired. It was removed because PKIX is changing this portion of the path processing algorithm.
  This class does not process any extension that is not explicitly mentioned in RFC 2459 even if it may be marked critical.
  It is also possible to fine-tune the path processing by adjusting the pathOptions attribute of the CertPathCtx object you provide to each SPI method.

  A String that identifies this certification path provider.

  Throws

  InvalidParameterException - If the name argument is null.

  instantiate

  public ProviderImplementation instantiate(CertJ certJ)
                                     throws ProviderManagementException

  Creates a ProviderImplementation object that handles PKIX certification path SPI methods. This method is called by CertJ.registerService when an object of the PKIXCertPATH class is being registered. Applications do not have to call this method.
